COMMENTS-

"Listen when I tell you that the world is vast and as unfathomable as the sea.
Listen, so youŐll know that the old ways are old because they are true.
There are laws- laws that bind and snare and trap. There are laws that waver
like the moon on thin ice and wake only on certain seasons or at an
impossible time. There are those that apply to men and only men, and those
that apply to women, or to devils. These things you must remember and pass
on: to your children and your childrenŐs children till there is no longer a
child to remember them. Listen:
You have the same eyes and luck as your forbearers. These things you
inherited come with a family legend, and whether that is a curse or a
blessing is up to you to decide.
There are more things in this world than you and I and the birds in trees
and the cat by the fire. There are older thingsÉ more ancient than I, more
ancient than anyone."
