Oxytocin is pretty much the only reason the human race has survived as long as it has. Can you imagine how women would think it was a good idea to grow a parasite in their bodies that made them miserable for nine months, nearly kills them coming out, and then makes them miserable again for another twenty or so years unless they thought the little blob of people-meat was cute? Neither can I.

It also makes parties a lot more interesting.
